1: Prepare the filling

Ingredients

For The Filling

  • 2 lb firm apples
  • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ cup raw sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

For The Topping

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup raw sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter cold & cubed
  • ¼ cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

How to Make?

  • Preheat oven at 375℉.
  • Mix apples, cornstarch vanilla extract, cinnamon sugar, and Cranberries together.
  • Transfer the mix to an oven tray.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Make the topping by mixing cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Blend the butter into the pie dough until you have an incredibly crumbly texture.
  • Add milk and vanilla extract and mix all ingredients.
  • Take the tray containing filling from the oven for 10 minutes. Spread it with the filling.
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar on the top.
  • Put the tray back into the oven and allow it to bake for 20-30 minutes.
  • When the toppings are golden brown, take the baking tray off the baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle sugar powder on the table while eating.
